How many restrooms does your wedding need?

Guest count, party length and an open bar decide the number. Here is a simple method to plan it.

2 / 8

Start with 1 per 50 guests

For a reception up to 4 hours, plan 1 unit per 50 guests. For 5 to 8 hours, plan 1 per 40 guests.

3 / 8

Add one for the bar

Serving alcohol? Add 1 more unit to your total. Guests use restrooms more often once the bar opens.

4 / 8

Example: 150 guests, 6 hours

150 guests over 6 hours needs 4 units. Add 1 for the bar, for 5 total. Or choose a restroom trailer sized by quote.

5 / 8

Wash stations near the food

Add 1 hand-wash station for every 2 to 3 toilets when food is served. Place them between the restrooms and the buffet.

6 / 8

Include a wheelchair-accessible unit

ADA 2010 Standards 213.2 call for at least 5% of clustered units to be accessible. Plan at least 1 ground-level unit, since trailers have steps.

Book wedding Saturdays early

June to September wedding Saturdays book up. Reserve 1 to 2 weeks ahead. Units arrive Friday and leave Monday at no extra charge.
